Injury replacement Ross' big game leads Flashes to 2-1 lead
With starting catcher Michael Barrett sidelined with an injury after a collision at the plate in Game 2, back up David Ross contributed 6 RBI's to lead the Flashes to a 12-6 victory and 2-1 series lead.
The Flashes struck for two runs in the first, two in the second, three in the third and five in the fifth, and then held off an Accies late rally for the win. Ross connected for a 2-run homer in the second, an RBI groundout in the third and a bases clearing double in the fourth.
The news wasn't all positive for the Flashes however, as they lost LF Manny Ramirez for the series in the first inning.
