Player Notes
- 2006: Lidge spent most of the year trying to repair his ego after a tough year. But when called upon he responded with 8 1/3 solid innings, picking up a win and a save, while striking out 12.
- 2005: To say it was a down season is to be kind. Lidge struggled to keep his ERA under 5 for much of the year (he finished at 4.31), blew an astonishing 13 saves, and finished with 10 losses. He did blow away 96 hitters in his 71 innings (12.2 per 9), and much of his problems can be traced to bad luck (.374 average on balls in play!).
- 2004: Serving as the Rollers everyday closer, Lidge saved 51 games in 59 chances. Using his blazing fastball and borderline illegal slider, he struck out 195 batters in 140 1/3 innings (12.5 per 9), and allowed a .230 opponent's average.
- 2003: Struck out 73 in just 57 1/3 innings (11.5 per 9), but otherwise struggled, with a 6.75 ERA and 5-5 record with the Flashes. Acquired by the Rollers, he won 9 games and posted a 4.05 ERA, but he was still not dominant as he allowed 16 homeruns in 66 2/3 innings pitched.
