- 2006: Mark enjoyed a break out year playing everyday for the Ybor City Rollers. He hit .310 for the year, with 28 HR, 100 runs scored and 121 runs driven in. He also joined Miguel Cabrera, Stan Musial and Joe Mauer in the 50+ 2b club, hitting 54. He also stole 7 bases without getting caught and made just one error in 1468 chances.
- 2005: Given more playing time, Teixeira disappointed by hitting just .245/.323/.468 with 26 HR and 88 RBI in 417 atbats.
- 2004: Mark again saw limited time, serving as part of a platoon at 1b for the Soldiers. He finished 2004 with a combined 32 homers in 482 atbats, putting together a .270/.345/.531 batting line.
- 2003: Hit .253/.309/.400 with 6 HR in just 225 atbats in his rookie campaign.

- Voted the starting first basemen for the World Team in the 2006 All Star Game.
- Acquired by the Ybor City Rollers from the Homestead Pythons, in exchange for Barry Bonds, Todd Helton, Edgar Renteria, David DeJesus, Hayden Penn and Brad Thompson.
- Drafted by the South Side Soldiers in the 1st Round, 7th Overall in the 2003 Rookie Draft.
