Name: Matt Bracken

Age: Born in 1981.

Currently live in: Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

Family I live with my beautiful fiance Janay, as well as our big 10 month old English Bulldog Riley, and a cat.

Occupation: Worker's Compensation Board for the Ontario Gov't. Yes, real exciting!

Favorite team, any sport, as a kid: Toronto Maple Leafs.

Favorite team now (explain if they are different): Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Blue Jays, Toronto Raptors, South Side Soldiers.

Other sports followed? I watch nearly any sport.

What kind of athletic background do you have? I played varsity basketball, baseball, volleyball, soccer. Pretty decent golfer (wish I didn't waste so much time on basketball, little did I know there is room for only 1 Steve Nash!) as I would've had a better chance in golf. I still play 'fastball' in a men's league twice a week, I play it because its the closest thing to hardball and I absolutely despise 'softball' or in Windsor "steroid ball".

Any games of a historical nature that you've attended, in any sport: 1993 Blue Jays ALCS game, Devon White made a great catch (when didn't he?). I attended Justin Verlander's no-hitter with former Lp2 owner Drago D. I have seen about 5 games at old Tiger Stadium, you should see it now, it would bring tears to your eyes.

What’s your favorite sports memory? Back-to-back Blue Jays World Championships. Joe Carter's HR off Mitch "Wild thing" Williams to win it all. Any time Vince Carter misses a shot. When George St. Pierre knocked out Matt Hughes. Lennox Lewis dominating Mike Tyson.

What is your favorite baseball argument/topic of discussion?: Jack Morris does not belong in the HOF. It really pisses people off around these parts as Windsor is essentially a suburb of Detroit. Mike Tyson is overrated, who has he beaten?

What's the first Web site you look at in the morning (or evening, depending on work schedule)?: TSN, Yahoo Baseball, Lp2, Yahoo Finance.

Outside interests: I am big into working out, I lift 5 times a week. Somewhat of a health freak. I train Muay Thai (Thai Kickboxing) atleast 2-3 times a month. I love the UFC and MMA in general. Drinking beer (Guiness, Heineken, Kilkenny, Stella Artois, Alexander Keith's and the occasional 'Blue'). Like Joe Chapman, I am a confessed stock junkie - I love following the markets.

Favorite music/musician: Extremely diverse taste. Tupac Shakur, Jay-Z, Jimi Hendrix, Rolling Stones, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Guns N' Roses, Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

Best concert you’ve ever seen (if you’re into concerts): My dad took me to see a Guns N' Roses concert at Hamilton's Copps Colisseum when I was age 10. If anybody knows Hamilton, they know a 10 year old shouldn't be at this concert. If anybody knows anything, they know a 10 year old shouldn't be at this concert!

Favorite travel destination, and why (Regardless of whether you’ve been there or not): Family owned condo in the Bahamas!
