The Ultimate Let's Play 2 Baseball League, now affectionately known as the "Lp2," consists of current major league players using the current season disk, with the unique aspect that each team has one MLB Hall of Famer on its roster. The Lp2, founded on May 15, 2000, was a brainstorm of co-Founder, Joe Chapman. Chapman, sick of being in numerous leagues where apathy seems to reign supreme, wanted something different, he wanted a change. While talking to a fellow DMB friend, co-founder Matt Bracken, it all came together. After a few hours of hammering out ideas, it was done. "This league will be a constant work in progress, we are always open to suggestion and change," stated JC, "it may sound trite, but we think this could easily become the best league on the net, a league where apathy does not have a place." The league currently has 14 teams which span out across the globe. The Lp2 MLB is also a "dues" league, as each team owner donates less than $10 a year in order to help split the costs of this domain, hosting, disks, game upgrades and league awards. The Lp2 Hall of Fame League, or the Lp2 HOF League, was created to give Hall of Famers the chance to compete with and against one another. The league consists only of players who have been elected to the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame. "I've always wanted to create a league for just Hall of Famer's since the Lp2MLB was created," stated the commissioner, "I truly thought it would be a league like no other on the internet. I felt it would be a great league for those who love baseball's illustrious past." The league currently consists of 9 teams (the commissioner somehow miscounted the owners that were interested, as the league was only looking for 8, but didn't want to dismiss anyone). Right now, every player in the HOF is currently playing, including Negro Leaguers, courtesy of Stuart Hughes, a fellow DMB'er and advisor to the league. Anytime a player is newly elected to the HOF, he is immediately added to the next draft. Each league team keeps 15 players from year to year and plays multiple seasons per calendar year. Each team is required to have a defunct MLB team name and play in a stadium that is no longer in use. Links to the league can be found on the sidebar to your left under "lp2hof gameday links."

The Little Tokyo Fantasy Baseball League, now known as the LTFBL, was started by Joe Chapman and Darren O'Dell. Chapman and O'Dell, who were roommates at the time, were in another fantasy league known as "The Lawton League," where everyone in the league was either close friends/relatives, or friends of those close friends/relatives (O'Dell's brother happen to be commissioning at the time). Having competed in such a fun league, Chapman approached O'Dell about starting another league, with the same "themed" premise. Soon after, the LTFBL was born, using a different theme each year in which participants must concoct a team name that fits that theme. In its inaugural season, the theme was "Sports Movies," with names like "Hoosier Daddy" and "Chicos Bail Bonds" garnering a few chuckles. The first year of the league (2005) was a great sucess and thus a tradition had begun! Each league keeps 3 players from year to year and currently uses Yahoo! as it's FBL set-up. Links to the league can be found on the sidebar to your left under "ltfbl gameday links."
