August 1, 2007 A grizzled veteran and a top prospect put on one of the finest pitching duels in LP2 history Wednesday night. Roy Oswalt of the New York Knights and Scott Olsen of the Boston Bombers pitched gems for their respective teams, with the Knights ultimately winning 2-1 in ten innings. For eight innings, the two pitchers shut down opposing hitter after opposing hitter. The perennial all star Roy Oswalt pitched eight full innings with four strikeouts and surrendering only one hit. Young fireballer Scott Olsen threw 7 1/3 innings with eight strikeouts, allowing only four hits. The game stayed scoreless through nine innings, before the Bombers notched one run in the tenth inning. Bombers closer Adam Wainwright then gave up two losses, suffering the loss.
