A day after purchasing the Sante Fe Gamblers from Justin Sanger, the Lp2 Front Office has sold the team to investor Joe Terry. “Joe Terry is one guy I can vouch for when it comes to activity and participation,” said the commissioner, “he is one guy that this league will be able to count on, day in and day out. I am definitely excited to be able to add such a quality owner.” The commissioner’s bold statement comes just one day after the league made a historical move and purchased the team from one of its owners. “We put a lot of time into this league and I whole heartedly feel that this is one of the best run leagues around. We may not have the coolest webpage, or the most gadgets, but we’re well organized and well run. Because of this, it should be an honor to participate in this league and owners should feel enough pride in their team to stay active, both on the message board and in the Wiki.”
The Gamblers will be relocating to Birmingham, Alabama and will be known as the Birmingham Cloverleafs.
