Radigan made all the right moves in Fall 2006.
The Capital City Catfish were brought to life in the Spring 2006 to participate in Tallahassee's recreational softball leagues. For years, the coaches wanted to put together a team that had a passion to play the game and a competitiveness to win. The first season was a total debacle, as the Catfish struggled to win and the team started to fall apart. In Fall 2006, a number of changes were made to bring in new talent, release some baggage and the emphasis on winning was lowered a few notches and the idea of "being competitive while having fun" was introduced. Coincidentally, the Catfish ran the table in the fall, going 10-0 and captured its first ever league title! "We finally came together as a team," said Justin Radigan, "what a sweet season."

In Spring 2007, we acquired a sponsor in Mainline Information Systems who is IBM's leading business partner across the eServer and storage product lines. Although the team is extremely competitive and will not stand for slack play from any of its players (all players are required to give it their all), the team camaraderie has become the main focal point, with winning a distant second. In our first season with the Mainline sponsor, the team won the League 11 championship and finished the season, across two leagues, at 16-5.
