Catfish Finish Embarrasing First Season:

Inaugural softball season as the Capital City Catfish: After a great preseason, where the team dismantled the three teams it scrimmaged, the regular season was a complete disaster as the team began implode and the losses mounted. Arguments were a nightly occurance and team camaraderie was as low as it could get. Many pondered if the team would take the field for another season after its dismal and embarassing 4-17 record. Although the stats were recorded, the team has all but erased the memory of its embarassing first season, not because of the losses, but because of the internal strife and the simple fact that noone had much fun! It was time to start anew!
