Player Notes

  • 2006: In his return to the Lp2, all "Stan the Man" did was hit .349/.431/.674 with 211 hits (3rd in Lp2), 54 2B (2nd), 11 3B (6th), 40 HR, 156 runs scored (1st) and 140 RBI (4th). He also led the league in extra base hits (105), total bases (407) and OPS (1.105).
  • 2003: Musial played the 2003 A season only in '03, but it was another outstanding campaign. He hit .343/.412/.658 with 37 HR, 118 runs, 131 RBI's and a career-high 59 doubles (5th most in Lp2 History).
  • 2002: Stan bounced back in 2002, especially after a trade to the Santa Clarita Saints where he hit .367/.437/.690. Overall he hit 65 homers, with 235 runs and RBI's. 2002 A was the first season that Musial topped 100 k's (he finished with 109).
  • 2001: Musial wan't able to repeat his fantastic 2000, as he struggled to the tune of a .267 average during the 2001 A season. He did manage to hit 58 homeruns, with 202 runs and 207 RBI's.
  • 2000: Stan spent his first Lp2 season with the Tottenham Blue Jays, but then bounced between 3 squads (Jays, Bristol Academicals and Sante Fe Gamblers. Through all that he cranked out 89 homers, scored 267 runs and drove in 277. He also had an impressive 205 extra base hits and only 92 strikeouts.
